Is Scholagora really free for students?
Yes! The core features of Scholagora will always be free for students. You can create a profile, apply for internships, and access the network without paying anything. We also offer a Premium Pack for advanced features, but it's completely optional.
Who can use Scholagora?
Scholagora is designed specifically for students and recent graduates in Kenya (the 254). Whether you are looking for part-time gigs, full-time internships, or just want to network with peers and employers, you are welcome here.
How do employers verify their accounts?
We manually vet employers who sign up to post opportunities. They are required to provide verifiable organization details. If you ever encounter an suspicious job posting, you can report it to our support team.
What happens after I apply for a gig?
Once you apply, your profile and cover letter are sent directly to the employer. You can track the status of your applications on your dashboard. If the employer is interested, they will reach out to you to schedule an interview.
How do I get paid for remote services?
Currently, Scholagora connects you with employers, but we do not process payments for services. You and the employer will agree on the payment terms (e.g., M-Pesa, bank transfer) during the interview process.
